Recently while working on my game, I noticed that none of my skills show up in battle or in the skills menu. It has said that my character has learned paralyze and sweep kick but none of them are showing. I tried a new game, and that didn't work. Please help me so I can continue my game! Pro http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.mugenation.com... http://mugen.en.softonic.com... Con Ultimate[2] - 1. Being last in a series, process, or progression: Obviously, Chuck Norris is not the last character in Mugen, as there are others created after him, and others that, in alphabetical order, come after him as well. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 2. Fundamental; elemental: Chuck Norris is clearly not universally fundamental to Mugen. Mugen was around before the character Chuck Norris had been entered into the user's database. In fact, Mugen comes with no characters but Kung Fu Man, which dictates that Mugen is able to run without Chuck Norris. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 3. a. Of the greatest possible size or significance; maximum: Chuck Norris is not the greatest size, as, in my opponent's own video, there was a character larger than Chuck Norris given. He is neither the universal greatest significance, as the significance of Chuck Norris varies from user to user. Some may 'need' him, and some will not. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 3. b. Representing or exhibiting the greatest possible development or sophistication This is most likely what my opponent was going for. To be honest, it is qite easy to beat, as all I need to do is list a character that can defeat/tie Chuck Norris, thus validating that character's higher development/skill. And, since ultimate implies that there can be only one supreme fighter, if another was to tie Chuck Norris, the resolution would be negated. I choose WeeGee[1]. He has no hitboxes, he can not die, and he automatically kills his opponent. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 3. c. Utmost; extreme As this is entirely subjective my opponent loses. Why Because, it is the BoP to prove that Chuck Norris is invariably the extremest character in all of Mugen, and as this is purely subjective, my opponent loses, as it varies from person to person, and he would have to prove that Chuck Norris is INVARIABLY the most extreme character. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 4. Being most distant or remote; farthest Since this definition doesn't actually -make- sense in the context of the resolution, this type of definition loses. This particular definition is negated. Ultimate[2] - 5.Eventual Now, at first glance, it may seem this is a strong argument for my opponent. However, it is not, as The implies that, since it is in context with this particular resolution, we were specifically waiting for this exact type of character, and this version of Chuck Norris. Now, since not everyone wasn't, this argument is negated. And, as no one in particular knew beforehand what exactly Chuck Norris in Mugen would look like, and what version for Mugen, and so on and so forth, with many specifications, this definition fails. This particular definition is negated. In conclusion, I hope my opponent makes a valiant attempt to rebut my arguments, though I do not expect him to succeed. Resolution negated. Pro One of the main points of my argument is that C.N. cannot be beat due to the fact his effect only allows for a victory or a draw (in the case of the draw your computer will say its a draw and show you the blue screen or straight up crash) and for those who may consider this cheating all I have to say is this: Mugen is an open source computer fighting game therefore there is no cheating when it comes to how you design your characters (unless you use the f1 [its one of the f keys] key in the middle of the game to instantly K.O. your opponent and even then C.N.s effect still works). http://mugencharacters.ucoz.com... http://www.mugenation.com... http://gcnmario.free.fr... http://www.mugencharacters.org... http://www.esnips.com... http://mugencharacter.ucoz.com... http://mugenguild.com... http://mugenguild.com... http://mugenguild.com... http://www.xentrik.net... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... http://www.youtube.com... Con Ultimate implies that there can be only one person. As such, if anyone ties/beats Chuck Norris, he is not the ultimate character of mugen, as there would not be only one unbeatable character. Weegee ties Chuck Norris in a fight, as neither of the two can defeat the other, due to neither of them having a hitbox. For my opponent's argument that a blue screen appears should Chuck Norris draw, and crashes Mugen, this is due to either of these: 1)Chuck Norris's character has it programmed to do so if he loses. 2)Coincidental glitch. As number two would only invalidate my opponent's argument, I will attack the only possible way he can win. If Chuck Norris makes this blue screen appear, either way, it does not matte. It does not make him the, 'Ultimate Character,' as he has still drawn with Weegee. The only thing that changes is that he is now a sore loser. So, my opponent loses. Anyways, my opponent didn't properly define Ultimate, while I did, and so I will now choose which Ultimate is being used for the debate. Ultimate[2] - 1. Being last in a series, process, or progression: As I already argued that Chuck Norris is not the last character and therefore not the ultimate character, and my opponent didn't address the majority of my arguments, I win. On all accounts, in every single standpoint and perspective, I have won this debate. As such, the resolution is negated. |
